DISPENSER APPLICATIONS
solvent based ink dispensing system


A typical application for the Rexson Colorweigh Compact 18 would be as a printer's in-plant dispensing system, where safe, cost effective and accurate color blending is needed. The dispenser would typically be located in the ink mixing room or 'ink kitchen', and dispense using an ink manufacturer's base blend range. Blended inks need to be supplied just-in-time to the printers' presses to ensure maximum uptime. The re-use of press returns is also essential to capitalize on profitability and minimise waste.

The Rexson Compact 18 is often used to dispense UV and Solventborne Flexo and Gravure Flexible Packaging Inks for food, non-food and medical applications.

Alternatively, the Colorweigh Compact dispensers can be configured for operation within production facilities dispensing high quality 'just in time' batches of paints, coatings, colourants and chemicals.

Twin Head Dispensing Systems

The configuration of a Rexson system as a 'twin head' unit allows for the simultaneous operation of two dispensing stations. This enhances the production capacity of a standard Compact dispensing system as it will blend two batches at the same time, effectively doubling throughput. Heads can be configured to dipense into buckets, drums, tates or mix tanks.
