C2C Racing 2009 - January 2009
Time pressures for 2009 mean that C2C Racing will have a limited program of events. We are unable to commit to a full championship so instead will be taking part in various series where possible. A lot of hard work went in over the winter rebuilding and preparing the bike so we should see an end to last years technical problems.
Martin will be making appearances in the opening two rounds of the Junior Endurance rounds for MC Racing team in the 1000cc superbike class as stand-in for their regular rider. Although not best suited to this class Martin wants to stick with last years Honda V-twin to remain eligible for the Sound of Thunder and SuperTwin series.
Up against more modern and powerful bikes in the superbike class will make the first two rounds an interesting challenge, but a good result will certainly boost confidence for the rest of the season. The Junior Endurance championship takes place over 7 rounds all over the UK. Each race is 3hrs long, with each rider doing 30 minute sessions.
Next race: Thundersports GB SuperTwins, Rockingham Speedway, 17/18th October (televised on Sky Motors TV)
