Dec 2004 Rexson Impress onto Competitors Dispenser

"Not just pipes and pumps!"

Rexson Impress management software has been proved to increase the value of your dispenser and increases the savings of an in-plant operation. So much so that Rexson have been asked to upgrade competitors dispensing systems, including GSE B.V. Stork Dispensing, Novaflow, Dromont, SPEC, ICS Texicon Datacolor, Vale Tech Inovex, Fluid and Inkmaker ink dispensing systems. Rexson Impress allows the customer to easily extract powerful reports instantaneously and export and e-mail in various file formats, such as Excel - a feature previously unavailable or very time consuming to collate prior to the upgrade to Rexson Impress. This flexibility saves the in-plant manager valuable hours which are better spent 'adding value' - i.e. supporting and servicing his customer! Also, the 'in-plants' can easily e-mail Ink Usage reports, Job Costings and Monthly Management reports to provide a regional, national or even a global picture of an ink suppliers 'in-plant' performance and compare individual sites. The comprehensive reports package and ease of interface with customer business systems allows ink companies to provide their customers with superior cost and tracking information.
Dec 2004 CD Ink Dispenser, Europe

Rexson will despatch its 15th CD UV Ink Dispenser in December, less than 18months after its launch. These units can be configured to dispense automatically or as a manually operated dispenser for up to 5 products. For automatic dispensing simply enter the required batch weight into the operator interface and it will be dispensed within seconds. The system is configured for quick and easy automated dispensing of products into 1L, 5L and 10L containers. The units are mobile for dispensing close to the required position and are supplied complete with integral pumping system.
Nov 2004 Solvent Based Paint Dispenser, Europe

Rexson have received an order for an 'in-can' paint dispensing system from a privately owned paint company in Europe. A previous user of volumetric dispensing, this paint company became disillusioned with the lack of repeatability and limitations of volumetric technology. The Rexson gravimetric dispenser will allow the paint company to manufacture small paint batches 'in-can' and reduce Q.C. levels to occassional 'spot checks'. Batches can easily be made directly in 5L, 10L and 20L cans thus avoiding the need for 'potting off' and subsequent waste and clean-up time.

The dispenser will be fully interfaced with the customers business software for the automated transfer of sales orders onto the Rexson dispenser and dispense data will be returned upon batch completion. This integration provides a fully integrated ISO management structure and minimises manual data entry and helps eliminate human error.
Oct 2004 Aqua 18 Waterbased Ink Dispensers, Europe

The Rexson Aqua 18 ink dispensing system is proving a real hit as Rexson have been instructed to install over 8 systems in October/November across Europe. The dispensers are mainly for installation within large global corrugator and packaging groups at various sites including Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Holland and the UK.

The dispenser features automated variable dispense head height controls and an automated valve nozzle cleaning system. The dispenser is configured to dispense to a high accuracy at a high dispense speed.

36 Item Ink Dispenser with ATEX Label Printer

Rexson have successfully installed another dispensing system within a major international printing group. The customer manufactures high quality printed film for the food packaging industry. The system is fully ATEX certified and is the first dispenser fitted with our new Rexson integrated flammable area label printer. The system also features an Ex barcode scanner for quick and failsafe bucket label reading. The combination of barcode scanner and barcode label printer will ensure press returns and dispense buckets are tracked and will help maximise press return ink work-off.
The installation also includes an ink distribution system. Ink is pumped from bulk tanks direct to each printing press, thus minimising manual handling, press side storage hazards and the movement of ink buckets around the factory.
July 2004 Paint Dispensing System

Rexson have completed the installation of its Colorweigh 48 system into a leading global manufacturers paint cell. The dispenser features conveyors for continuous automated dispensing of batches. The dispenser has the capability to dispense into sample jars up to bulk mixing pans. The dispenser is fed from a dedicated pumping system featuring automatically agitated supply vessels and filter units. This coatings dispenser is configured to a very high accuracy ensuring the customer can supply paint to a guaranteed high quality, three times quicker than previously possible.

“The cell’s speed and precision enables us to provide superior product quickly and efficiently, in a larger color pallet and in smaller batch sizes, to meet customer needs. As a result, it will provide a competitive edge for our customers,” said Keith Prins, General Manager, PPG Industrial Finishes. “The new process minimizes product variability, meaning customers get the exact coatings they need, the first time and every time.”
PPG Corporate News Release 20 July 2004
July 2004 Concrete Colorant Dispenser, USA

Rexson successfully completes its dispenser installation with 'The Decorative Concrete Store' (TDCS). The system automatically dispenses waterborne integral concrete colourants quickly and to a higher accuracy than that of TDCS's rivals and their systems. The Rexson is a gravimetric unit as opposed to competitors lower accuracy volumetric systems. The easy-to-use Rexson Impress software automatically calculates the amount of colourant required for any given pour size (square yards).

Bob Ware, President of TDCS comments "we are very impressed with the quality and accuracy of the Rexson automatic dispensing unit and we see it giving us a great advantage over our competitors. We can 'just in time' dispense a guaranteed color blend of any size in minutes!"

FEBRUARY 2004 Dispenser to South Africa

L.R.Plastics are a family owned business, specialising in the extrusion and printing of polyethylene for food and beverage packaging.

"In collaboration with our ink supplier, Hi-Tech Inks, an interest in automatic ink dispensing arose. The dispenser has allowed us (L.R.Plastics) to improve the control of our already highly disciplined printing ink supply chain. It has also enabled us to reduce our stockholding of inks by more accurate ink usage estimations and forecasting and has given us the ability to make 'just enough' ink for our needs on a 'just in time' basis.

A significant added benefit is the prompting provided by the Rexson software to easily recycle and work-off 'press return' inks".

January 2004 Tank Fed Paint Dispensing System

Leigh Paints two Colorweigh 40 dispensing systems have entered full production. The repeatability and quality of paint batches produced on the systems have exceeded expectations. Since entering service, over 2500 batches have now been produced 'in can' on the paint dispensers and, as expected, has eliminated customer colour complaints. Leigh paints can now quickly produce high quality small paint batches for its customers with the minimum of fuss and no waste. Furthermore, Q.C. checks consist of occasional, random spot checks, instead of previously checking and correcting every single 'hand made' batch. The dispensers also allow Leigh Paints to provide an 'order today, deliver tomorrow' service.
