Rexson supplies all its automatic dispensing systems and manual weighing systems with Rexson Impress management software. Rexson Impress uses Microsoft Sequel Server MSDE and was launched at the end of 2002, and is in continual development with over 10 updates since its release. Rexson has a major share of a software company allowing Rexson Impress to be developed and supported by 12 people. This enables Rexson to 'punch above its weight' with regard to latest software trends and levels of customer support. A statistic to prove the integrity and stability of Rexson Impress is since its launch in 2002 there have been no instances of database crashes, hang-ups, freezes or corruption or loss of data experienced by any of our users. MS Access or similar databases are only 'desktop' file server applications, not full 'client/server' systems like SQL. As such Access based systems are prone to data corruption, hang-ups and speed degredation - especially in high data or multi-user network applications. The speed and reliability of Rexson Impress/SQL also makes realistically possible, for the first time, effective operation of 'satellite' systems from 'motherplants' over WANs and the Internet.
 All Rexson dispensers are run by a high specification PC installed in the main dispense unit. Each machine incorporates a high-speed modem, which allows off site support, upgrades and also permits remote management access to extract, edit or add data. Each dispense system can also be linked to customers business systems for seamless transfer of data.
Always the first with new software technology (from being the first manufacturer to run multi-tasking DOS systems in the 80’s, the first to run Windows IMS and Windows NT IMS), all Rexson dispensers now run under Windows XP Professional.
